Aww poor Albert he seems to have taken Jarque's death hard :( good on Rafa for letting him go to the funeral if that is what it is. I would have to disagree with you on a few things tho... Stevando Torrard were totally ineffectual but I think that is a lot due to the total lack of service they were receiving rather than just them themselves. Last season they were so effective in part due to Alonso setting them off and that wasn't happening against Tottenham. Stevie was having to drop deep to get the bal...... more

Great pictures Aristeia! Poor Jamie does look like hes been through a war or two .. only Skyrtl's head could slice open Jamie's! And yes that pic of Stevie made even me swoon (and I'm more of a Torres girl myself). As for that 90 minutes which passed off as a football game.. If anyone watches it again, look and see how many forward balls Lucas plays. There was about 2 that I can remember. Erin I agree booing should not and very rarely does happen at our club. I must admit I go to almost every home match and never heard any booing .. definitely heard some irritated groans but never booing. I'll be absolutely delighted if the improvement continues and its always great to see the effort being put in. He put in excellent performances against the Mancs and PSV last season so hopefully he can step it up and become the kind of player we need but at the moment hes still way off.... more

Im not sure Suzie I saw the crowd as well but I haven't seen any pictures of him at the match since so I presume he wasn't :S I hoped they might present him at half time! Grr better luck with the shirtless shots next time! Lucas was exceptional on the ball and his passing was good but off the ball he was dire! He was so desperate to go forward and show his ability to attack that he entirely neglected his duties in midfield and followed the ball. Nope Luis didn't play today I believe he has been released by Atletico :S It was a good match, Glen played really well but the midfield was non existent! Liverpool FC confirmed this evening that Alberto Aquilani has successfully completed a medical and agreed a 5-year contract with the club. Rafa wasnt kidding: Liverpool FC today confirmed they have agreed a deal with AS Roma for the transfer of Italian international Alberto Aquilani, subject to a medical. According to sky sports news a Liverpool representative and the guy who handles all the top transfers for Real met today in their hotel in Barca.
